Weeks & Whitford, Home Is Where The Heart Is

‘Home Is Where The Heart Is’

Acting as a mirror to ‘13 lucky for some’ in this work Weeks is the protagonist deploying seduction rather than humour whilst Whitford resists by ridiculously re-appropriating her underwear and pelting her with pigs hearts as she strips and poses. He refuses to allow her through his defences, until in an act of intimacy she urinates on his feet bringing them once more into a mutual space of tenderness. The performance is about the power struggles and reconciliations within relationships, and the means by which they are conducted.
